Barbara Daniels called to inform us that the intersection of Third and Walker is obstructed by large shrubs, trees, and a tall fence that make it unable for motorists to see to get onto Third. She wasn't sure of the private residence's address, but wanted the City to do something about it.
Citizen (who is a candidate for County Commissioner), claims Sanitation truck has been speeding through his neighborhood. Says he has seen this at least twice, even at times that are not collection days for that area.
Intersection of 3rd and Pete Ellis is dangerous. Often a line for a left hand turn from 3rd develops to enter the B N parking lot. Island on 3rd doesn't allow traffic to get out of way from through traffic. Problem results in sudden braking and traffic congestion into College Mall and 3rd intersection. TRASH IN THE STREET COMING OFF SIDEWALK AND BLOWING INTO TRAFFIC. HE HAD TO SWERVE TO MISS IT.
There are young children on tricycles in the middle of the road. Mr. Wright has cautioned them before. If this is in fact a daycare, can we do something to keep the kids and their tricycles out of the road? There are many speeders along Montclair who might not see the children. This is very unsafe and something ought to be done about it.
AN E-MAIL COMPLAINT WAS RECEIVED IN THE UTILITIES DEPT. STATING THAT THE STREET LIGHTS AT 7TH & ROGERS WERE NOT OPERATING AND HAVE NOT BEEN OPERATING FOR OVER 2 WEEKS. THIS COMPLAINT WAS REFERRED TO THE PUBLIC WORKS DEPT.

Sudbury states that people are travelling 60 MPH down Weimer Road. There were two accidents in the past week. She has contacted the Police Department and they have sent out officers but they only drive up and down the road. They need to have the officers stay out there and write tickets. She is possibly interested in traffic calming of some type.
