the speed of cars in between 2nd and maxwell on high street has become a real dangerous problem. Cars routinely go 45-50 mph in front of our house. In both directions cars seem to race up the hill whihc peaks at 1st street. We request that you do a speed study. this is extremely important because of all the school traffic in the area. The city is destined to have a traffic injury or worse on this street if it does not take care of the issue. Either some tickets need to be issued, speed bumps need to be added or a stop sign needs to be placed at 1st street. We are happy to provide video evidence is you like. It is non stop during traffic areas.
Lots of construction trailers blocking the right of way on Davis Street leaving them there over night and they are big black trailers some people can’t even get out of their driveway
Buckled concrete in roundabout @ sare and rogers. It’s on the entrance going westbound on rogers by the storm water inlet
Trying to turn left from Clear Creek trailhead into Tapp road and from Weimer road left into Tapp road is gotten very dangerous with more traffic on Tapp road over the years. I park my car at clear creek parking lot and walk almost everyday and everyday I struggle with getting out of parking lot because most cars are driving 60 miles and sometimes over 80 miles and hour on that stretch of Tapp road. There are many 30 mile speed limit signs but hardly anyone drives under 50 miles and many drivers drive over 70 miles which is very dangerous and illegal. City should do something about it before serious car accident happens with kids involved. Maybe stop sign, traffic lights, or even speed bumps. Whatever makes it work to slow down the speed and make it more safe please. Meanwhile I think there should be regular police officers enforcing traffic laws. Thank you
People always drive dangerously fast on this road. The speed limit is 25, yet I usually see most drivers going 40 or above on this road, which is dangerous to my dogs and I. Maybe there could be speed bumps or other infrastructure to signal drivers to slow down.
From the left turn lane headed northbound on Henderson, thick utility wires are partially obscuring the traffic light.
In violation of parking in front of a fire hydrant
The amount of simultaneous construction across the entirety of Bloomington has reached a truly ridiculous point. Driving anywhere in town has become a tumultuous, stressful mess. This widespread tearing up of major roads started well before summer, and instead of wrapping up, the gridlock has only gotten increasingly horrid. To make matters worse, the city failed to finish these projects before a massive drove of college students returned to town. Flooding our already broken, bottlenecked streets with thousands of extra drivers at the exact same time is a complete failure of planning that has made Bloomington practically undrivable.
Eastbound traffic disregarding the stop sign.
