Erman & Associates has an employee that is handicapped. There are no handicap parking spaces in this block area. They do have a parking lot in back, but they have only 4 parking spaces for 8 employees. Plus the distance is too far and dangerous for the employee to walk. They would like to have a handicap space in front of their building or close to the alley. They would like to be placed on the 9-23-98 Traffic Comm. agenda to get something done before winter and bad weather starts.

The cicada speed bumps are so cute! At first glance Ithpughtthey were the bolts that have been sticking out of the street since February but no! These cicada speed bumps next to the car speed bumps are so nice. Just like how they don't slow the cars down at all these new cicada speed bumps don't have any effect on the bugs whatsoever. Instead they are a trip hazard and are extremely dangerous to both bugs and people.

JAMES WOULD LIKE TO HAVE THE LOADING ZONE LOCATED IN FRONT OF HIS OFFICES AT 418 S WALNUT STREET MOVED TO IN FRONT OF THE BARS THAT ARE LOCATED DOWN THE STREET. Traffic using the stretch of South Park Ridge Rd between Morningside Drive and E 46 is consistently traveling at a very high rate of speed. This has always been an issue and now compounded with additional traffic utilizing this pass due to the temporary closure of E46 and Smith Rd. Attempting to back out of my driveway safely has become a real problem as there is a slight curve north of my driveway which creates a bit of a blind spot. Wondering if there can be some sort of traffic calming structures, caution lights or something that will help deter the speed of the traffic through this stretch. Thank you.
