Sudbury states that people are travelling 60 MPH down Weimer Road. There were two accidents in the past week. She has contacted the Police Department and they have sent out officers but they only drive up and down the road. They need to have the officers stay out there and write tickets. If you try to pull out of that shopping center and you look south to try to pull out on Walnut there is a big sign truck that blocks being able to see the cars coming. I e almost been hit because you have to pull so far for to see oncoming traffic before you can pull out. I believe it belongs to BBs market, weve asked them to move it , but that was 2 weeks ago

There is currently no legal way for large trucks to get to businesses located here. The following keep them away: - Low railroad bridges on Adams, Fountain, and 11th - Hump railroad crossings on Adams and Fountain - The roundabout at 17th and Monroe - Narrow residential streets - A No Trucks sign on Crescent Rd, the only easy way in.

Due to the Sare/Rogers close, lots of traffic is coming through Hyde Park along Olcott. Now that school is out, there are more small children out playing and I saw one nearly hit by fast car yesterday. Could we put one of those signs up to show the driver speed relative to the actual speed? I really appreciate the police cars driving through or stopping but when they aren't here, people speed again.

Excessive speeding (meaning more than 5 mph over the posted speed limits) continues on 17th St. This includes very large trucks (semis, construction trucks, etc.) and even some MCCS busses. Some vehicles go way over the speed limit. Suggestions for improving this situation? Even adding just one more mph sign each on both sides of the road might help (at least help those drivers who tend to drive more or less at posted limits).

Claire Robertson states that there is a parking problem on South Rose Avenue between Hunter Avenue & Atwater Avenue. There should be no parking on the East side of Rose in this block. The block to the North is currently no parking on the East side and this block should be consistent. The road is too narrow to accommodate parked vehicles as well as through traffic. There are not very many homes that front Rose Avenue.
