There is a bush which is sticking out into the road and blocking the 90 degree sign. Street has checked and said it is not in the road enough to cause a hazard and is not completely blocking the site of the 90 degree turn sign. Street said this bus is private property and should be turned over to HAND.
Claire Robertson states that there is a parking problem on South Rose Avenue between Hunter Avenue & Atwater Avenue. There should be no parking on the East side of Rose in this block. The block to the North is currently no parking on the East side and this block should be consistent. The road is too narrow to accommodate parked vehicles as well as through traffic. There are not very many homes that front Rose Avenue.
Moody Drive is not wide enough to accommodate parked cars on both sides of the street as well as through traffic. There are a few rentals in the area that have excessive vehicles that park on the street causing problems for cars to get through. She is also concerned about emergency vehicles. The residents have driveways.
Bushes create blockage into street and for line of sight, parking on street with inadequate space for renters parking and traffic.
We have a street light out on the corner of 984 Buckingham Drive and Eden Drive here in Sherwood Green. Didn't know if the city handled that or if I should call Duke. Thank you for your time. Lisa Funkhouser, Manager Sherwood Green HOA.
The hedge at 1122 South Walnut is causing a hazard because drivers coming off of Davis cannot see around it.
The left hand circular green is burned out on the northbound Oakdale traffic signal.
At the intersection of Allendale and Walnut Street Pike there are several evergreen trees/bushes that make it nearly impossible to see the traffic coming north on Walnut St Pk and results in many cars pulling in out into cross traffic in a dangerous way. The trees are on private property on the south side of the intersection.
I have a 10 year daughter and a 12 year old son. There are many younger kids in this neighborhood one of which has autism. Many cars throughout the day and night drive too fast around the curve on this road. I'm afraid that a child will be hit by a car. It would be great if a speed bump could be installed here since speed limit signs are not being adhered to.
