Letter received on 3/20/98 stated that Mr. & Ms. Riggins have had considerable trouble with storm drainage. The problem was worked on in 1992; however, the problem continues. Would like problem solved.
Comments come from citizen's leaf collection survey response. Storm drains at Ramble Rd W and Rusgan are "a real problem". They are always clogging up and don't work as they should. Need more regular maintenance, one is completely buried. Wants to talk to someone about this and point out the problems.

Big drainage problem where Morton intersects 2nd, just west of the RR tracks. Big puddles form, drain on north side is higher than the depression that the water gathers in. Water freezes in winter. Citizen says she has reported this several times but no action is taken and no one responds to her. (could not find record in system)
Gutter/drain in front of her house fills up with leaves/debris. Whoever cleans it out often dumps the debris on her yard. If this is City, it should be hauled off. It's filling up now.
Drainage inlet on east side of High Street just north of Queensway is full of sand (possible from water main break this weekend on High Street). He's afraid if its not cleaned out it will flood at the next rain.
Morey stated that the city installed a drain that goes down the street and discharges the water runoff into her sideyard. The runoff has caused a ditch to form on her property. She is concerned about safety and the deterioration of her property
Citizen complained of the alley grade, in front of his building, being raised up after the development of the property accross the street. The result of which has the storm water pooling in his parking areas, as high as 16" deep. The complaintant is asking for a relief for this problem.
MR FISH HAS A DRAINAGE PROBLEM WITH WATER RUNOFF FROM THE ALLEYWAY NEAR HIS HOME. THE WATER GOES ONTO THE CONCRETE SLAB INTO MR. FISH BASEMENT. (NOTE: I DID NOT TALK WITH FISH, THE COMPLAINT WAS TAKEN IN BY DEB VOLLMER)
