There is a large "road closed" barrier at the intersection of Rogers Street and Country Club Drive. Someone is posting additional advertisements on the barrier. Something about "Give God the controller."
Down tree blocking road
This morning at approximately 8:05AM on October 18, 2018 a guy driving a delivery truck bed full of materials decides to stop at 10th and Rogers with no indication and causes a full stop for myself and a city block full of cars stuck. Rogers is a one way street at this point and because of the height of the truck, we cannot see if traffic is coming down the other way to pass around the truck. After sitting in my car for over 5 minutes and watching the truck driver run out to the construction site with no indication of when he's coming back, I rolled down my window to ask a nearby construction driver if someone can come direct traffic. I realize that's not his job but he didn't even dignify my question with a response. This is frustrating because despite all the delayed construction projects at the city, county and state level, the City has usually been pretty good about these types of things. If this is going to happen again, someone needs to be directing one way traffic flow. Also, I thought this 10th street corridor between Rogers and Morton was also supposed to be open by October 15th but now I see the information is gone from the city website.
this is an alley, but it is not used for cars -- it's grassed over. but people still walk through it a lot, and several large limbs from a tree are now blocking it. anyway, this is not an emergency situation at all, but it would be great to get the limbs removed. maybe one of the homeowners should do this, but they have been there for several weeks now.
Parking with tires on grass. Making cars weave into reserved parking spaces to avoid auto in driving lane.
Overgrown plants and flowers are blocking the sidewalk in front of 521 W. 4th St.
The occupants of 521 W. 4th St. leave piles of dirt and trash cans in the 4th Street 7 days a week.
alley off of Curry Pike before W 3rd that goes into Highland Village: The rental store often blocks the alley with their van almost daily. Also, the laundry mat blocks the alley with cars and uses the whole alley with about 5 people sorting clothes on a weekly basis.
White car is parked on the north side of the street. There is parking only on the south side due to the narrowness of Smith. This is illegal parking and this auto has parked this way often. I am going to start reporting it because it creates a narrowing problem for the street.
