The alley running behind the property has a tree blocking entry from Maxwell Terrace Lane and a tree down with fencing directly across fro 809 S Henderson. The trees and weeds have also gotten so large they are rubbing cars as you drive down the alley
Large tree branch has fallen into the road. Resting on a power line.
Fallen tree branch across Hawthorne Dr. Branches have been cut and pushed to side of street (in front of 1025 and 1019), but need to be cleared off.
Power line and tree down
There is a house on Sheridan between Maxwell and Jordan on the north/west side of the street that has giant pavers sitting on the roadway in front of the house. They are just right on the pavement, obstructing the road. These are a danger to pedestrians, cyclists, children, and vehicles. Can someone go take a look and understand why there are big pavers on the road surface?
This is a continuing problem at 601 S. Woodlawn (the address above is as close as I could get on your map). Two weeks ago two large dead trees were causing a hazard, dropping limbs. Trees are covered with vines but have been dead for a long time. They continue to drop dead limbs. There is also a bad patch of poison ivy near the sidewalk, creating yet another hazard.
Broken tree branch hanging over the street on 1st St at the NW corner of 1st and Woodlawn.
A residential Parking Sign is improperly inserted into the ground causing it to be slanted at a 30 degree angle. This is almost blocking my driveway and causing the roof of my car to scratch it. Can you please re-dig this sign in the ground so that it's' straight? The sign itself is not damaged, it's just not properly inserted into the ground. Thanks. Kent Rerko 910 S. Manor Rd. The Emeriti House at 1015 E. Atwater serves the retired faculty at IU. Currently the entrance to the alley behind the house is blocked off at Hawthorne for some minor resurfacing. Tomorrow, Fri 5/15, Faculty Ave will be resurfaced, so the entire access to the alley will be blocked off. I have two retired professors coming by tomorrow, one to pick up a very LARGE piece of art to transport to the Convention Center for a presentation. Emeriti House also has its art exhibit going on this month, as we do every year. Is this alley going to be open from the Hawthorne side by tomorrow morning? My professor must have access to the alley and our ramp for this piece of art. I would appreciate a quick reply so I can contact him about this. Also, in future, if the alley is being worked on or blocked, could someone please call me, as it impedes the traffic and our clientele, as most are retired and some use canes, etc. Thank you! Nat
