Not sure why #177138 was closed. Nothing has changed. Cars still blocking the street, still blocking the ramp and still blocking the fire hydrant.

A red Hyundai Accent has been parked in the same spot since July 2022 and is becoming a nuisance for trash pick up. With winter coming this car is in the way for snow removal.

Hi,
When attempting to drive westbound on Countryside Lane outside Summit Elementary, we were told by a crossing guard that they were allowed to completely block westbound traffic and would not allow us to drive in the eastbound lane due to “their walkers”.
I raised a complaint with the principal several weeks ago about not only convenience, but also the fact that emergency vehicles are not able to drive through. They responded indicating that people are only supposed to be parking on the far westbound side of the street and not blocking traffic, but that is not what’s happening.
How do they have the authority to block traffic and decide who is or is not allowed to drive on a public street?
They said it was “for 15 minutes” but no drop/off pick/up ever takes a mere 15 minutes as parents start lining up we before school lets out.

The residents of either 727 South Eagleson or 719 South Eagleson use a public access ally way (running between Eagleson and Swain) as parking for cars and large recreational vehicles. It blocks the way for utility service, trash removal, postal delivery, access to property and walking and biking around the neighborhood. Moreover, residents in either of these two homes are blocking parking spots and affecting traffic with green “slow down” signs placed in the street. Both these actions present an over-reach of private citizens in claiming and controlling public space. Please could you investigate and hold these citizens to the rules that we all live by?

Sorry, this was the closest category I could find for my concern.
On Kingston Drive, across from the Mall entrance where the Bloomington Transit bus stop is, and also across from the Target parking lot (side of the building), near the pedestrian crossing from the Current parking garage to the Target parking lot, there are big stones that have fallen into the road, coming from the slanted side at the foot of the parking garage. It is right at the bend of the road, so, very hard for motorists to see. And what if one comes tumbling down while a car or cyclist is just passing there? There should be a fence to keep the boulders inside or a heavy net over them, in my opinion. I understand that this is not the responsibility of the Current property owners.
