There is a parked trailer in the street, without sufficient reflection or license plates. I do not know who owns it but it has been there for months. It is moved a few feet either way on occasion, but it presents a major safety issue at night and is quite unsightly for a residential neighborhood.
The North/South alley between 810 W. 7th and 804 W. 7th is being encroached upon by gardens, woodpiles, trees/vegetation and possibly the fence and cinder block garage owned by 810 W 7th St. As a result, the alley traffic is being diverted outside of the alley right of way and onto the private property located at 804 W. 7th. This appears to have been going on for a number of years. As the new owner of 804 W. 7th St., it is my full intention to re-claim the property/property line currently being encroached upon and proceed with renovations. I request that the Street Dept contact the owner of 810 W. 7th and order the encroachments be removed. With the assistance of a surveyor, I have located the NW and SW corner pins delineating the right of way and pounded new T posts just outside of the right of way in those spots and plan to post the entire property line once the encroachments are removed. Were I to reclaim the property line today, the alley would become impassible due to said encroachments. I request your assistance in remedying this situation in a civil and legal manner, as requests to the homeowner of 810 W.7th have fallen upon deaf ears. I request that you keep me in the loop regarding this issue. I would be happy to meet with a representative of the street dept, with survey in hand, to assist in clarifying and remedying this issue, as renovations of 804 W. 7th will begin in a few weeks. Debris from large tree branches that broke off of tree on roadway at corner of 7th and Indiana Avenue. Dangerous for cars driving through.
Cleaning lady next door is blocking alley, again.
A small tree has fallen into the street. It is blocking about half the width of the street. (Cars can still get by.)
appears the snowplow missed a lot of the cul-de-sac as a vehicle actually got stuck after getting out of a driveway. If the two vehicles parked on the street are causing issues getting to the location to clear it better then tow them. They've been sitting there for two years and not moved. The neighbor has a driveway and chooses not to use it.
12th St. Between Indiana Ave. and Walnut St. is a two-way street, but two cars can't safely drive on the street at the same time because the street isn't wide enough to accommodate two lanes of traffic and street parking. Often you have to pull over to let people through because the street isn't wide enough, and I've almost lost a mirror because someone was too close several times.
Parked car blocking east/west alley on block bounded by Park, First, Woodlawn and University.
Construction and deliveries blocking parts of 14-13th streets and Dunn. In one instance a semi trailer was blocking Dunn and there was just one guy with no sign *kinda* directing traffic.
