A citizen contacted the Street Department regarding vegetation blocking the line of sight at 414 South Meadowbrook Drive
There is a line of sight issue for traffic coming off of Huntington turning East onto Hillside Drive.
There is a line of sight issue for traffic turning off of Huntington turning to go west on Miller Drive.
Bushes overgrown at the northwest corner of Gorden Pike and S Walnut Street make it hard to see southbound oncoming vehicles.
There is a row of bushes/hedges in front of 1003 W. 1st Street that blocks the line of sight for those pulling out of the apartment complex at 909 W. 1st Street. There have been other complaints (8/24/06 & 12/27/07) in regards to this problem. The property owner at 1003 trims the bushes/hedges back but they continue to grow back and cause a line of sight problem.
East on Maxwell Lane at the corner of High. (northwest & southwest corners) there are weeds & trash that block the line of sight when you are turning from Maxwell Lane onto High.
Near 2215 W. 3rd there is a tree that blocks the line of sight. It is west of the entrance of the Longview Trailer Court.
Anon called in. Weeds at Southeast corner of Monroe &17th -- in front of Tri North. Blocks view of cars coming down 17th St. (this land may belong to CBU please check)
At the intersection of Walnut Street Pike and Winslow road (on the Pizza Hut property) there is an evergreen tree that obstructs the line of sight for traffic.
Wilmington Court Condos. There is a large evergreen tree (on Clarizz to the south of the entrance to the condos) that blocks the line of sight and causes traffic turning onto Clarizz from the condo entrance to pull out onto Clarizz to see oncoming traffic. The evergreen has grown over the sidewalk and into the street.
