When turning left from Bypass onto 10th, sometimes it's difficult to determine which lane to turn into. The 3 oncoming lanes are confusing. The median needs to have a sign or better marking (esp. in dark or rain). Thank you.
Several years ago stop signs were briefly installed on 10th at Smith and it was wonderful. Then they were pulled and we never try to make a left on 10th from Smith because it's just too dangerous. Would really love a light here. But stopsigns would be awesome.
As you head east on Marilyn Drive and come to the intersection with High Street, when you look left you can't see traffic on High. You can't see if a vehicle is stopped at the stop sign on High for southbound traffic. The overgrowth is in the north west corner of the intersection. Can this get cut or the property owner told to trim for the view of traffic for safety reasons? Thanks.
Poison Ivy leaning out over the sidewalk at face level. Northeast corner of E. 2nd and Mitchel.
Caller states that line of sight is blocked at n/s alley coming south at intersection of alley between Lincoln and Washington and Hillside. Location is 1424 S. Lincoln.
There is an overhanging tree branch on the NE side of the road not far from the service station S of Blue Ridge that appears to be a near road side hazard. I noticed a Semi trailer pulled off to the side of the road yesterday very near this potential obstruction. Similarly, there are two dead tree limbs on N Dunn St near the Kenwood entrance and exit to Blue Ridge that I would also encourage their removal.
SE corner of 11th / Morton intersection has tall Tree-of-heavens growing in a clump. The clump hinders visual field for drivers going north on Morton who have stopped at the intersection and are planning to turn. Not clear if this is the responsibility of the City or the property owners. Note that Tree-of-heaven is a noxious invasive and should be removed (that is, dug up) wherever it is seen. It has spread all over town, but no one seems to notice or care. It is a terrible plant.
Please consider removing the north-most parking space in front of "Bub's Burgers". When drivers are on 9th Street at the intersection, it is difficult to see oncoming cars approaching from the south on Morton because there is often a large vehicle parked right there blocking the view. If one space were removed - perhaps converted into a bicycle rack island - then it would be easier to see when trying to turn.
Heading south up the hill on N. Blue Ridge Dr. and planning to turn left onto E. Blue Ridge Dr. I cannot see traffic coming from Clover onto N. Blue Ridge. Clearing the right of way would be a big help.
