The overgrowth between the sidewalk and street on the NE corner of 2nd and Euclid blocks all the views of westbound traffic, creating a significant hazard. This occurs every year. The residents are apparently cultivating it. That overgrowth needs to be removed permanently.
This large pine tree has been overgrowing the sidewalk (on right side of Landmark facing 3rd) for years. I walk this block everyday, and this chokepoint, where narrow sidewalk and street blend together, pushes me dangerously close to oncoming traffic. For fast traffic heading north on Landmark, this is a blind bend for anyone approaching from other direction. A large truck or van could easily sideswipe a pedestrian trying to step around tree limbs.
Sidewalk blocked by overgrowth. When stopped on Smith line of site blocked. There is also an overgrown fire hydrant, possibly to the same address.
Case #183535 still open since April. What is the status update?
Trees were planted when the bicycle path was built. Later, the stop sign on Seventh at Dunn was reinstalled. Now, a tree blocks the stop sign when heading east on Seventh so you can't see the stop sign on the right/south side of the street.
The grasses at the south corner of High and Meadowbluff are blocking the view to exit Meadowbluff, making an already difficult turn even more dangerous. We spoke to our neighbor and she let us know that she has filed a complaint with the city as the area with the long grass is not safe to mow, due to the debris left by the construction of the new city path. Could this debris please be removed by the city asap, so this area can be safely mowed to make exiting our cul-de-sac safe again. Thank you.
Speed limit 25MPH sign was placed behind tree (approx 4 feet) that grew (35 yrs) and old Welcome / Leaving, Hyde Park- Brick Columns. Both sides of roads are obstructed view. May be part of the speeding problem. Request: 1) sign be moved to the appropriate place or 2) Tree and Column removed ...so that motorists can view signs from appropriate distance, IAW code.
The stop sign on the NW corner of Morningside Drive and Park Ridge Road is obscured by tree branches in front of the sign.
The large bushes on the Graham side of the property block line of sight for southbound drivers on Madison St. They need a serious trimming.
