Many neighbors and I use the sidewalk on the east side of S. Henderson St., opposite BHS sports fields, between Wylie Farm and Graham Roads, but I am writing to report that the trees and other growth next to it have become a nuisance and need culling/trimming back. 2900 E. Winston Street. Shrubbery is seriously overgrown onto the sidewalk causing one to walk single file.
The sidewalk by Mr Hibachi on East Third street is obstructed by a large bush. Pedestrians have to walk in the street where the cars leaving Mr. Hibachi can't see the pedestrian. It is dangerous for the pedestrian.

Sidewalk between the driveways of 417 & 423 E. University St. is almost unpassable because of encroaching woody plants. Also, sidewalk in front of 423 is encroached by vines, including poison ivy.
2611 Round Hill Lane, Bloomington. I understand the City cannot do anything about the overgrown lawn at this address because of the litigation the home owner has filed. But could you at least remove the dead trees and/or limbs that are blocking the sidewalk and could potentially fall on my car? I would think city code 12.24.040 would cover this problem. Additionally, the property owner cut tree limbs from his roof line, left them to drop in a pile so that if the dry conditions return we have a neighborhood fire hazard. I am so far beyond frustrated with this sitution. The property owner is getting a free ride in the litigation with the city, while our neighborhood would have to raise thousands to hire a lawyer and take this unreasonable man to court. Northside of Tapp Rd. between S. Adams and Rockport Rd - overgrown weeds and brush on sidewalk make it difficult to travel on the sidewalk.
There are many pedestrians like myself who walk North Walnut under the railroad trestle just north of 13th Street. On the west side of Walnut, this is so overgrown with weeds (some nearly trees) it becomes difficult to safely navigate there. Who is responsible to maintain this problem? If it's the railroad, they should be fined - especially in the winter when snow is NEVER cleared. The weeds are a nasty sight, too. One more thing, what should we do when we see homeless people making their 'homes' under the bridge. I just came past there and a couple of scary guys (trolls??) were making themselves comfortable. I'm a middle-aged single woman w/o a car so I often have to go to CVS from my home at 11th and Walnut. Thanks for any help you can provide!
