Grass not mowed at the vacant lot to the west of 514 W. 15th St.
Property corner of 12th & Jackson is a compete eyesore to the neighborhood, yard remains unmowed most of the time, trees have been allowed to grow out of the sidewalk, mothers w/babies in strollers have to go out into the street, and around to get through.
Caller's mom lives across alley and is 97. Weeds at 606 are so overgrown they have pushed the retaining wall out into the alley & mom is trying to pick blocks up. Also "5 or 6 IU students" living there; occupant load is 3.
Grass needs to be cut
Citizen states that this should be 2nd call on this property. Yard has not been mowed all year. He doesn't feel that anything is being done because he thinks that a City Employee owns the property. The grass is very tall and is attracting mosquitoes.
There is trash and large items all over the yard such as couches etc. Vehicles parked in the yard with trash in them and the weeds are waist high.
Back yard not mowed.
THE YARD HAS NOT BEEN MOWED ALL SUMMER. THE INSPECTOR NEEDS TO BE SURE AND MAKE NOTE THAT THE BACK YARD IS HIGHER THAN THE FRONT.
Grass has not been cut at the vacant house located at 619 or 621 W. 13th St.
The owner of 622 W 13th St says the property behind him on the alley needs to clean his side from weeds and tree limbs. He could not give me an address, but I think is it is 914 Fairview.
