Tenants refuse to cut lawn/which is now over 3 feet tall. The yard is generally unkempt, and neglected. Owner is Jwaidah? Managed by Alice Reed (who I notified 2 weeks ago)
weeds and trees growing into the alley forcing cars closer to Burnham's house. The house actually was clipped once by a truck trying to keep away from the over growth. John reports the yard at this house is just out of control.
Garbage cans of unbagged trash has been sitting in front of property for 2 to 3 weeks. Much of the trash is now scattered out of the cans. There has been no effort to pick it up.
The neighborhood of Elm Heights is a mess. At the intersection of University and Park, the weeds and bushes cover sidewalks on both sides of the streets. Along Park, bushes cover sidewalk on both sides. Also, the NE corner of Park and 2nd St. the bushes cover the sidewalks.
Occupant is Daniel Bynum. Neighbor believes he is in late 80's, and is very confused. Adult Protective Service told her to call us about yard. He is dumping garbage and newspapers in back, and lawn is unmowed. He lives alone, and Adult Protective Services will try to help him.
THERE IS A CAR ON BLOCKS IN THE DRIVEWAY, AND ANOTHER CAR PARKED IN FRONT OF THE HOUSE W/GRASS GROWING AROUND IT. THEY HAVE HIGH GRASS AND TRASH SITTING OUTSIDE.
Front yard was mowed a week ago. BACK YARD has not been mowed for two years. Elderly owner now piling trash and junk in the back yard. He also has a large dog chained in the back yard, and the smell of dog feces is very strong.
Several weeks ago, tree in tree plot lost several limbs in storm. The limbs fell into street and sidewalk. She hauled them out, had them cut up, says she called for City to pick up but no one ever did, so she put YW stickers on them, still not picked up. Also, same tree has another dead limb about to fall. Bob: please pick up limbs (sounds like they're ours). Lee: Please let her know if dead limb is her or our responsibility. Thanks.
