neighbors' weeds growing over into complainers' yard, visible from right of way, but if not complainer gives permission to come onto his property
Absentee owner of property to east of 1208 W. 8th St. seems to have abandoned yard again. Grass is over 2 feet tall, thick dirt from construction is all over the sidewalk, and my landlord and I have been cutting back the bushes/part of the lawn so that they don't completely block the sidewalk. I can barely get my son's stroller through and the mud is extremely slippery after a hard rain. Our yard also has a major chigger infestation from the owner only mowing his lawn two or three times a year in previous years so that I can't even take my toddler outside to play without us both suffering from dozens of bites. Please help!
LL wants this property to get a ticket. He has tried to get them to mow the yard but they haven't.
excessive growth of yard, overgrown
broken limb hanging over neighbors driveway and tall weeds
Uninhabitable house with weeds and excessive growth on all sides.
The property of 1208 S Woodlawn Ave contains Japanese Knotweed. Japanese Knotweed is a city-listed nuisance weed, and in the case of this property the growth is well over 8 inches (more like 5-10 feet) and is visibly spreading into adjacent properties to the west and north by rhizome. The Japanese Knotweed is also visibly growing into that house's siding and foundation. This is likely a rental house situation where the landlord is neglecting the landscaping.
