Received Email. Here is the text: Hello, We walk our children to school every morning down Hunter Avenue. The house on the northwest corner of Faculty and Hunter have extremely overgrown weeds blocking the entire sidewalk. We would appreciate it very much if your department could just kindly ask the owners to trim those. Thank you, Estela
Overgrown shurbs blocking sidewalk.
This lot is overgrown with weeds/shrubs/flowers. The weeds are obstructing a "No Parking" sign in front of the house and are starting to climb up the post of the stop sign at 6th & Elm. The weeds are over the sidewalk on 6th Street causing people to have to walk in the street. There are 2 junk cars parked in the sideyard on Elm Street.
Weeds growing over sidewalk making it impossible to walk on sidewalk along High St
Lack of pruning, or care, of flora on property. Ground cover, invasive plants, weeds, vines, grow onto public sidewalk area, and onto surrounding private properties, along the property lines.
The sidewalk along the west side of North Jackson Street, just South of 15th Street is overgrown with bushes, weeds and tree limbs. Residents have to walk out in the street because they cannot walk on the sidewalk.
Shrubs are overgrown onto the sidewalk hindering view for pedestrains.
Previous post closed without being fixed. There is excessive growth/weeds coming out of the street between sidewalks and road itself making our city look trashy and not maintained. Incident was closed bc “they wernt blocking sidewalk.” That is irrelevant. I would like to know who closed the last complaint. Tax paying citizens are paying for the streets and sidewalks to be maintained.
