Tap water taste like dirt, smells slightly of sewage, and leaves chemical taste and tingle in mouth after drinking. Concerns for the safety of the water and at minimum is not palatable at all.

The taste/smell in the water supply has been a problem for years. The last time I brought up the subject to the City, they sent someone out to flush the water line--turn on a nearby fire hydrant. Of course, after a few days the water returns to smell/taste. So, what is being done to solve the problem? What is the position of the Health Department?

Black flakes in my water that leave a greasy residue. I last reported this issue on March 16, 2026. The issue is not consistent but seems to pop up randomly which makes it a threat as it is easy not to notice when I am potentially showering with it, washing with it, and even drinking it.
