Water tastes very bad and smells dirty
My water smells and tastes like grass or mildew. This just started yesterday. All water in my apartment in Hidden Hills at Oakdale is like this.
Water tastes and smells moldy 215 N. Rogers.
Water at 1211 W. 2nd Street suddenly smells and tastes terrible. The Sun Terrace Apartments.
Since about August 27 or 28, the tap water has tasted bad, and also smells different. It tastes like dirt, and it smells like dirt. I have been boiling my water for drinking water, and yesterday started buying bottled water. The same problem was found at the restaurant Southern Stone yesterday, August 31, and when I asked for some bottled water the waitress said she's heard that a lot lately about the tap water.
The odor and taste of our water renders it undrinkable at the moment. It tastes like mildew. I recognize this is likely from the algae bloom but my goodness there should be something you can do about this. It’s gross. …and didn’t you increase our water rates?
I understand there is algae overgrowth at the lake but the water has quickly become unconsumable this week. The smell alone is awful coming out of the tap, but our family cannot even drink it with the taste. There needs to be a better solution long-term to prevent this from happening. We are paying for water we cannot use.
The water smells and taste horrible. Honestly smells like you are at the lake. It actually made me gag this morning and several hours after showering in it I keep getting whiff's of lake. Really hoping my co workers can't smell lake water on me.
Our water tastes absolutely horrible and nothing makes it better. Brita filters are brand new, we added fruit as you suggested, and it’s becoming an issue for my family. We drink tap water daily and it’s our main source of hydration. The cost of buying water is atrocious but we have 2 boys who drink water all day. How is the city going to help us with this issue?
