Large pot hole at the entrance of Cedar Chase housing addition off Leonard Springs road.(Located on right side of road when exiting the housing addition.)
Asphalt crumbling. Large aligator cracks. Pot hole.
There is a dip in the road near this location and a pot hole has developed. The surface of the road needs to be raised to prevent the pot hole from reappering. It was fixed last year but is back again.
After the heavy rain, the 'usual' potholes have appeared again on the south side of e Second Street, from the intersection with High all the way until the STOP-sign at the intersection of Second and Woodcrest.
Pot hole on l3111 S Leonard springs Rd
Pothole on E First, right before the YIELD sign at the intersection of First and Sheridan (the pothole is on First).
It's a really deep pothole that's been there for a few weeks. It just became a two way and cars have to swerve to avoid it. This might be IU's jurisdiction.
My residence is located at 724 S. Washington ST. Two years November the Street Department performed pipe work in the middle of the street in a 2 to 4 block section. At the conclusion of the project the section of street was patched. Since then the section has been re-patched and re-patched. My concern is one of safety. S. Washington is a main thoroughfare for the Police Department traveling at high rates of speed. Loose gravel is sprayed every time cars drive through the area. This is also a highly used street for cyclists who commute to IU and other locations. The loose gravel from the re-patching creates unsafe pbike travel. Lastly, this section of street is unsightly. The bike lane lanes and curbs are unpainted and the patch work is broken and pot holed. I would certainly appreciate it if the City of Bloomington Street Department would take a close look this Spring at a more permanent surfacing of this section of street. Thank you!
The location is approximate (can't remember if it is east or west of Zona). The hole is on the south side of the street. This is a repeat offender and seems like a heavy rain causes it to get worse again.
There are 3 large potholes at the intersection of S Rogers St and Phyllis Ct.
