Potholes, Other Street Repair

1808 E Windsor DR

Case Date:
9/5/2025

Signs indicating that road construction is ahead have been here for months. No construction is taking place. These signs need to be removed. Leaving unnecessary warning signs up is irresponsible since it conditions people to ignore them.

See case #204982. Response was dismissive. "..will be compliant when paving is completed..". *When* will that happen? This year? The areas surrounding the ramps are DANGEROUS, especially at Grant/Cottage Grove. Why start a project if it cannot be completed at the time?

Potholes, Other Street Repair

Corner of Arden Dr and Windsor Dr

Case Date:
9/2/2025

Several potholes are continuing to get worse at this intersection. When turning onto Windsor Dr. from Arden, it is impossible to avoid these jokes without traveling into the opposite lane. Hank Duncan (City Bicycle Coordinator) told our subdivision last fall that the City would be redoing the streets during the Greenway project, but it has yet to be started. I left a voice mail for him 2 weeks ago, asking about the plan, but he has not responded. Please contact me.

Potholes, Other Street Repair

1977 N College Ave

Case Date:
9/2/2025

A large pothole located at the intersection of N. College Avenue and W. Riley Drive in Bloomington, Indiana. The pothole is situated directly at the entrance to the Steak ’n Shake and Granite Apartments. This pothole is significant in size and depth, creating a potential hazard for drivers entering or exiting the area. It poses a high risk of causing damage to vehicles, including tire blowouts, wheel damage, or suspension issues. Additionally, its location at a busy entrance increases the chances of accidents or traffic disruption. I recommend that the pothole be inspected and repaired as soon as possible to prevent damage to vehicles and to maintain road safety in this high-traffic area.

Utility cut has sinking causing a dip I can’t believe that with all the City vehicles that are in the area that this has to be reported. Maybe the City should have a system for employees to report issues do the public doesn’t have to. This way it can be taken care of sooner.

316 W 6th ST

Case Date:

Heading north from the intersection of 6th and Madison, the first turn in on the right where the asphalt meets the concrete is pitted and uneven. The issue was remedied previously and it was greatly appreciated. However, it has worn down over time again and is causing issues as we need a smooth surface to roll over. Any help filling this in and making the asphalt level with the concrete would be greatly appreciated. Please see my contact info for more details if the picture and description are insufficient. Thanks.

The city alley along the north side of our home on 1006 South Grant Street, has a few large, deep potholes. They need to be filled in, new gravel to level with rest of alley. These potholes were created by utility trucks when each did some work in the spring. These heavy trucks (city tree trim, utility repair, cable repair, etc.) park to repair at the poles and their continued heavy weight created deep holes. Driving down the alley (which daily serves 5-6 drivers in three adjacent homes) has become very challenging. One can't veer easily to the side due to alley being narrow - and no one wants damage to our cars from suddenly hitting potholes! This gets exacerbated in rainy, muddy weather when you can't easily see potholes. Thank you for your attention.
