I submitted a report for two potholes on 1417 W Allen st in the whittington commons development. I just got an email from Chris Axsom that they were filled today, but they were definitely not. The other is right when you turn into the street. The original case number was 172471
Greetings, I spoke briefly with a street maintenance crew as they were working in front of my home - and thought I'd share the conversation here. Over the past few years, the gutter from in front of our home (1504 E Elliston) on down to Fenway Pl has deteriorated significantly to the point that our driveway & yard are sinking as well. I'm no longer able to get my cars out of my driveway without scraping the bottom. When we get major rainstorms, I've noticed that the water runs directly into the ground from the gaps in the gutters & road, which I'd imagine contributes to the gutters & road sinking. I appreciate that they were out there patching the holes, but the patching really is very temporary from my observation. I was wondering if the city would have any plans to shore up the foundation, perhaps rebuild the gutters in a way that my driveway/yard won't continue to sink. There are a number of sizable potholes forming at the entrance of Whittington Commons near my home. Could these possibly be fixed?
Can the loose sand and gravel be swept up at the intersection of Fenbrook Lane and East Moores Pike? For westbound bicyclists on Moores Pike who are turning north onto Fenbrook, the sand and gravel presents a hazardous situation. Cyclists are approaching at speed since there is a downhill, they want to make a smooth, wide turning radius, but the sand and gravel presents an potentially dangerous obstacle while turning. I would like to request that Weatherstone Lane and E. Cobblefield Ct. are evaluated for repaving, and or/patching. There are several spots throughout the complex that have needed attention for a long time. thanks
Road lane lines are almost imperceptible in daylight, absolutely so in the dark, and the old blacked-out lines are the ONLY thing visible in the dark and rain. Dangerous!
The part of Lindbergh between 15th and 17th that has been left unfinished for a few years is becoming more treacherous. Only one lane is passable, but it is a two-lane road. There are deep potholes along the road and there is plant growth that needs to be cut so that the northbound lane is useable when there is a car in the southbound lane. Please fix the issues asap.
Lindbergh, between 11th St. and 17th St. has been left unfinished for years. It is a disaster to drive on, and the portion from 15th St to 17 St is basically a one-way lane as there isn't room for 2 cars using each lane. And now there is plant growth that is impeding the lane heading north to make the street even narrower. I see it is highlighted on the map of scheduled projects, but it isn't listed in the list for scheduled projects. It really feels like it has been forgotten. Please follow up on it and finish it.
