The problem is parking on the south side of East Maxwell Drive. Cars are either parking on the street or half on the street and half on the grass. The lack of signage is possibly causing the problem. The North side of Maxwell is clearly marked and with some zone parking. This south side becomes a problem with heavy traffic and the cars are parking on the street. So is it permissible or not? There is a house next to ours and they continue to park on the grass near a deep ravine in front of our house and other houses. I have asked them to park on the pavement, but it continues. We do not have concrete curbs on our street. Also they park on both sides of the street and making it a hazard for any emergency services to get by. Also, the grass helps keep the structure of the ravine.
A white SUV has been parked for many weeks in the same spot at 612 S Eastside Drive without having been moved. Based on the Elevate Map it looks like this is even the ROW. Also, the car is partially parked on the grass, = unimproved surface, because otherwise it would stick out too far into the street. On top of this, the vehicle has a license plate that has been expired for more than a year. In fact, based on the Municipal Code, this is to be considered an abandoned vehicle. See 15.04.020 (Abandoned Vehicles) : a) this is public property and b) it has been parked there continually without having been moved for a multiple of 3 day-periods.

uReport Case #199681... this vehicle was reported last Tuesday 12/17/24 ... it had not moved for 3 days... this vehicle still has not moved, the snow on the windshield and the rock on the tire the Parking Enforcement Officer put on the tire ... is also proof the car has been parked past the acceptable time period... please enforce the Parking Rules
