House is vacant and backyard is seriously overgrown with ivy and has nesting rats. Neighbors are mowing front yard so our cul de sac doesn’t look bad.Fence is falling down on 2 sides.
Large Weeds in front of home. Tall Grass not cut. Would like a notice to send to owners of property as rentals can’t do anything.
I am a resident of the apartment complex located at 1722 N Walnut Street. Over the past month, the lawn has been overgrown. I have given them an abundance amount of time to take care of this issue. However, it is to the point where the grass length has made it embarrassing to say I live here. In some areas, the grass is 24". This issue has become excessive and needs to be taken care of.
I’ve noticed non native plant species on this City parcel and would like to know since we have been working on similar plant removal and treatment along the B Line who might be be ones to inquire of addressing the bush honeysuckle, wintercreeper et al on this triangler parcel just a few parcels from the back parking of Opportunity House. Overgrowth from 328 S. Buckner into the alley causing drivers to drive onto my parking area. I am the homeowner. Underneath and hiding in this overgrowth are fence posts, and a drop of several feet from the hidden stone wall, which is almost level with the alley. There’s also scrapes on my car every time I try to back in to my parking space. The residence at 328 South Buckner have lots of overgrowth throughout their property they mow some areas and leave others just going wild with whatever is just growing from the ground not something planted.
Lawn has not been mowed in weeks. The grass is extremely long. Looks like a mess.
This is an apparently abandoned house, boarded up (except basement door is open) and yard is severely overgrown, encroaching on sidewalk.
We've had a problem with invasive Tree of Heaven ever since the city came a couple years ago to clear the overgrowth in the "alley" space at the northwest corner of the property. Since then, the overgrowth has of course returned, but it's now more aggressive, with the inclusion of Tree of Heaven, which is spreading to the rest of the property. It might be a good idea to clear that overgrowth again. Perhaps there are other preventative measures that can be taken.
The over growth along Prospect Street west of Madison Avenue is totally out of control. This is the city's property as the owner's property line is within about a foot of the house. Grass and weeds have overgrown the street, brush and trees are hanging over the street. Although parking is allowed along the north side of the street, it is not practical with all the over growth. Please, remedy this problem to maintain the beauty of our neighborhood and city. Also, I have made calls for three years running and reported this problem previously on ureport. Nothing has been done to remedy the problem.
