There is a City-owned tree in the ROW that is completely covered in vines, some of which are poison ivy. The vines are right next to the sidewalk, and are so high that the vine is going to seed. Is this the responsibility of the adjacent property owner, or does the City attend to its own trees?

There is a utility pole at the SW corner of this property (by the alley) that is completely covered in vines, most, perhaps all of which are poison ivy. The vines are right next to the alley and tenant parking lot and are so high up (25+ feet) that the vine is going to seed. Is this the responsibility of the adjacent property owner, or do the utility companies maintain their poles? If the latter, do we have to wait the 5-year cycle for them to come by and do the trimming, or will they come by if someone requests it? And if so, how do we contact the utility which bears the responsibility?

I’ve noticed non native plant species on this City parcel and would like to know since we have been working on similar plant removal and treatment along the B Line who might be be ones to inquire of addressing the bush honeysuckle, wintercreeper et al on this triangler parcel just a few parcels from the back parking of Opportunity House. Multiple locations (bump outs) along the 7th St Greenway east of Union to south on Hillsdale. Basically they are being ignored by mowing crews, again.

Referring to closed case #188267: unkempt lawn at 1706 E Second Street, and part of the lawn that is adjacent to 607 S Eastside Drive. The owner indeed did mow a little more, but a large part of the lawn that borders 706 is still in the same horrible shape as it was, worse in fact, because the grass has kept growing since May 5. There also is a large branch that fell off a tree, that has been sitting there for ages and was not removed. Maybe it is time for another visit.
