Roadkill on little-traveler street
Unrestrained dog chased my son as he was biking down the street. Owner chased after the dog screaming and cursing (which scared my son as much as the dog charging him.) Dog growled and nipped at my son but did not bite. I've never seen the dogs restrained and they frequently leave the yard.
Unrestrained & aggressive dog (similar in size & color to a Rhodesian Ridgeback) chases people who walk by the house. Observed a young person screaming and running away from the dog for almost a block. Owners scream/curse at the dog, hit the dog, but do not properly restrain it.
three dogs are left in the front yard tied up to a fence and tree for extended periods of time. You can see the brown dirt they run back and forth in all day. I'm not sure why they neglect their pets. I am also not sure why they need to tie their pets in the front yard 5 feet from the street. The dogs do not have access to shelter, water, or food. They bark at every passing person walking by.
I want to report a potential animal neglect situation. From my house, I hear the cry of a dog, at different times of the day, for several weeks. The noise comes from apartment number 19 (2611 E. 2nd St). The crying is mostly during business hours, so I'm assuming it's because he's locked up alone, and suffering from some separation anxiety. I have reported this to the landlord who has contacted the owner, however, there is no change in the situation. I would like to request that this situation be investigated, and verify that the animal is in good physical and psychological condition.
There are snakes and at least one skunk in this yard. We've been trying to walk our pets down the sidewalk and the snakes come out of this yard into the sidewalk area. The skunks are living in the back yard area in this yard.
The property is so unkempt and weeds so long that various animals are now hiding in the weeds very close to the walkway. Including a stray cat that is aggressive and dedicating/urinating on lawns! (NOT the Persian cat that sits on the front porch of the White House across the street).
