Just curious if it's normal if homeless take baths in the splash pad for kids. I watched this on 7-5-23. I find it disturbing and disgusting.. Something has to be done with the amount of transients at Switchyard. They have over run Seminary, rails to trails,parking lots,corners and sidewalks.. I don't fill safe taking my family downtown any longer.. Something has to change... Marty S.

There is a fence between Meadowood and Griffey Preserve. The fence is laying on the ground with broken wires, fence posts are breaking off. Is it okay to remove the broken/bent fence between the properties. This fence is behind 1013 and 1015 Sassafras in Meadowood. I'd be happy to show someone what I'm trying to describe. I kindly request the following actions to be taken as soon as possible: 1. Construction of a Sidewalk: I urge you to install a sidewalk along Highland Avenue leading up to the entrance of Winslow Sports Park. This would provide a designated path for pedestrians and separate them from vehicular traffic, ensuring their safety. 2. Installation of a Clear Crosswalk: It is imperative to establish a clearly marked crosswalk at the park entrance, complete with visible signage and pedestrian indicators. Attn. Parks Department A request to install a dog waste station at the Park Ridge park. We have discussed preliminary logistics with staff member Joanna Sparks when she met with us on a related parks initiative. We believe the station will be well utilized and maintained by our park custodial staff member. He provides good consistent service by the way. Please consider this request, placed in a shady area maybe at the base of the ADA path close to the street circle level. We have many dog walkers in the area so it will be appreciated. Thank you -
