A large group of my friends and I have red, painful chemical burns from the grass. I can still see imprints of individual blades of grass on my legs after 4 days. The chemicals used are far too strong and this is unacceptable for a public park where children play.
Request for bike racks on either the east or west side of the splash pad restroom building. Our run club meets here and the nearest bike racks are next to the playground south of here. We have a decent number of cyclists during the summer who would all use these racks during our runs on Mondays/Wednesdays. I bike year round and so this would be a great quality of life upgrade for me personally as well. Thanks for the consideration!
Southeast Park has ground nesting bees living under the benches surrounding the playground. Please Take care to remove before someone gets stung bad
We have seen a few people frequently using the tennis court at Sherwood Oaks Park for soccer. They would practice shooting soccer ball against the tennis wall and court fences. Those structures are damaged because they are not designed to withhold such strong impact. Please consider putting a sign to warn against similar activities. Thank you!
This is about Sherwood Oaks park-(the link from the webpage for the park itself to Ureport is not working) not Elliston Drive- The growth in the field in this park is getting REALLY tall and woody-is anyone going to come out with a bush hog and cut it all down? You have mowed more in the Goat Farm Park, and you have also cleared out all that brush in the woods between the two parks, so I hope that you plan on mowing in the Sherwood Oaks field soon- Thank you- Kim

The park courts need new rims they are broken. They need new nets and the backboards need repainted.
Switchyard Dog Park needs a hose or more accessible water spout/fountain installed for large communal (dog) water bowls. Ferguson model works well. An awning that actually provides shade (current one does not) would also be wonderful. Thank you :)
My son was arrested and his vehicle was left over there. Not enough pickle ball courts. I went on Sunday and 15 people were waiting continually for two hours. It causes an issue because people are sitting on the courts. Also, it can be frustrating for them to have to wait so long to play it would be nice if the city would create more Pickleball courts. This is a very popular sport and has been for many years. I’ve tried to play a Park Ridge in East. This is not a solution. It took 20 minutes to put up the net. I had to find a way to get the combination to the lock. It took another 15 minutes to take it down and put it all away. The lines are confusing, so my group has decided not to play there.
