Unclear what cause person's experience. No chemicals are used on the turf at SYP. There was some recent herbicides used in some of the restoration areas, but that was after the incident.
Other: A large group of my friends and I have red, painful chemical burns from the grass. I can still see imprints of individual blades of grass on my legs after 4 days. The chemicals used are far too strong and this is unacceptable for a public park where children play.

Eliza, Thank you for your email. I'm sorry to hear about your experience. I'm not sure of the cause. I assume your experience was at Switchyard Park on April 13. Is that correct? Just recently on April 15 and April 16 there were some mild herbicides. However the only locations that were sprayed were restoration areas. No chemicals have been applied to any of the turf areas at Switchyard. Not ever. If you can provide additional details like the specific day and location I can try to investigate further. Again, I'm sorry for your experience and we want to do what we can to prevent any such future occurrences.
