Homeless encampment at inner tree line of Bryan Park, near youngest kid playground area and restrooms. This should not be allowed. Leaves kids, families, and general public feel unsafe and unable to utilize the park to its full capacity l, as our taxes pay for. The general public is sympathetic to the transient population, but individuals should not be subjected to tents, clothes, needles, etc. being parked all the time in this park and all parks for that matter. There has been an uptick in homeless encampments across town.
Jackson creek school pickup line in olcott park parking lot.
I live close to Summit Elementary and there is a lot of loud music with heavy bass going on today at RCA Park. Also tons of dogs barking constantly. I don’t live too close, so I’m surprised I can hear anything at all. That’s how loud it is.
The sidewalk bordering the north end of the goat farm, from the High St traffic circle west to the stairs, is not navigable due to vegetation overgrowth. Can this be trimmed back to make the sidewalk more accessible for walkers?
The Winslow complex has one trash can available outside the softball/baseball fields and one small receptacle for dog waste. Soon the trash can will be pulled behind the locked fence as it is every winter. The small trash cans on the tennis courts were removed this year. We need more trash cans available outside the fields and year round at this complex. This issue keeps getting worse every year.
Cascades park. Why is it so hard to drive here?! Surely you can make it one way or protected bike path or even clog the other end instead of forcing town to expend significant gas miles to get to the north entrance? Please tell me this restricting isn't permanent
Would it be possible to put heaters in the shelters in the parks around town so family and friends can meet up outside this winter due to the Coronavirus?

I was downtown at the walnut street post office and the parking lot was overrun by homeless people who apparently were on some sort of substance. One was lingering by my vehicle and I was uncomfortable going to my car. There were tents all over the park into the post office parking lot. Can the Mayor PLEASE do something about the homeless situation? This is not the same Bloomington we had 4 years ago! I don't think I will be coming downtown for a while now.
