Someone has trashed the shelter at Winslow Woods. There's party trash and broken glass all over the shelter and on into the woods. It's a terrible mess.

It really would be great if the City would do something about the shape of the aging ballfields at Winslow such that an afternoon storm on one day doesn’t affect two or more days’ worth of baseball games – it seems to have gotten progressively worse over the last few years. As a local business owner, I would be extremely frustrated to sponsor these facilities when a little rain keeps the fields from being playable.

we are playing at Winslow Sports Park Tennis court (Down side court). There is a craking sound from backside big tree. I am little bit concerned about whether that tree might be fall down some time, and it might be broken to Tennis court fence or any citizen who are playing tennis in future. Could you check that tree's craking sound? Thanks

There is a green/gray tent up towards the hill on the northwest interior of the Winslow Woods Nature park. Up a steep hill after crossing the small "river", halfway through the loop where the trail splits in 2. Smelled smoke nearby and noticed it the past few times I been up there.

I am so glad to see that you are finally going to fix Push Place. The picture of the proposed new playground at Push Place looks horrible: one huge slide. Some families have multiple kids with varying degrees of comfort with slides. You need to have some short slides and some medium slides. People shouldn't have to continue crossing Hillside to get to Bryan Park so that their little kids can go down a reasonable sized slide. Even little Southeast Park has 4 slides of varying degrees of difficulty. Will there be hearings on this proposal? Will there be an opportunity to change this design to something that will work for toddlers, pre-schoolers and elementary school aged kids?

When is the destruction of the Push Place playground scheduled? Bloomington Developmental Learning Center (BDLC) reserved the shelter for their graduation ceremonies for May 22 with the intent that children would be available to use the playground. That playground was the first playground in the city to be designed to be inclusive to accommodate people with disabilities as well as able bodied children. You have not only lost that but this playground design doesn't even provide a developmentally appropriate progression of increasingly difficult slides so that children could progress to a large slide such as the only one that is included in this design. I am frankly astounded that any reputable playground design firm would propose this design. In incident 175703, you claim that you got feedback from parents. What parents? According to the Parks and Rec Master Plan, the west half of Arden Place is serviced by this park. Did you contact any parents in this neighborhood? So far, I haven't found any that heard of this. You didn't seek input from BDLC, which in the past has taken their children to Push Place on field trips. I follow Parks and Rec on Facebook and I haven't seen anything about any public hearings on this. Do not close this issue as resolved. It most certainly is NOT.

I would like to complain about all of the rain outs at the Winslow baseball fields when there is no active rain. Games are being canceled by the city when the Smithville and Ellettsville leagues are still playing games. Both other leagues have people on the field clearing water and putting down quick dry every day while it appears very little effort is given to clearing water from the Winslow fields. Having city employees work on the fields or allowing volunteers to do so would make a big difference.

It seems the baseball fields either do not have proper drainage or are not given any sort of priority or care after it rains in an attempt to make the playable for youth baseball leagues. We have had more games canceled in the recent weeks than we have played. All while other local fields in town continue to be able to successfully get theirs ready and play.

Games canceled again tonight even though there has been no rain in 36 hours. There were no attempts to work on them yesterday to remove water so they could have a chance to dry out today.
