Person had reserved Building Trades and Bryan Park shelter houses. She was upset that there was trash everywhere and they had to clean up. They called the number for after hours service and it took way too long for someone to get there. Also, the sign should have been flipped over to show that it had been rented.
Re: Rail Trail == On the trail north of Gordon Pike & East of Somersbee, there is a section of barbed wire 6" and 36" high 1/4 mile in length that is covered with foliage and can't be seen. Mr. Burkett is afraid someone will be harmed.
Colonel Johnson says the wildflowers north of Miller Showers are too high and people can't see on-coming traffic. He says it is extremely hazardous (wants to make sure you check it from a car). Would like this taken care of.
Caller indicated that he attended a ballgame @ Winslow Sports Complex and was told he could not have his 8 week old puppy with him. He was upset that there were no signs saying dogs not allowed.
Please replace the upper tennis court lights at the Winslow Park. More than half of the lights are burned out. Also, please tuen on the lights about 45 minutes earlier. It’s too dark for playing match around 8:00 pm.
Bunch homless hanging out at public park not safe for children. Always needles and caps loud music
Playground is incredibly overgrown. Some areas have a black, fungus like growth in the grass as well. I sent an email to Parks this morning before someone told me about this form.
Someone keeps vandalizing the drinking fountains at Bloomington Rail Trail entrance off country club by smearing mud or feces on the water spout
This is a second report about a possibly dangerous tree in Bryan Park. I reported it first after getting reactions from some usually knowledgeable people. Here is a sample. "Textbook example of root rot in an infected ash tree. That tree will fall soon. I've seen many on my property fall when they get to that stage." "VERY precarious, I have had trees fall over that were not that bad." "We just lost a 6yr from Boonville yesterday dead tree uprooted and fell on her. what are the odds of that... she was walking with her Grandma." So it sounds URGENT. Please put some CAUTION tape around it and maybe a sign if an arborist can't assess it immediately.
