Please create more shade at Switchyard Park near the playground and splash pad. I was there with a young child and a baby this weekend, and it was impossible to keep the baby in shade while still having a view of the child on the playground or on the splash pad. The grates above the swings do not offer shade, and both shelters were being used by groups/parties. There should be shade structures at the playground and alongside the splash pad. I encountered a number of people with the same complaint.

A Park’s personnel was using a leaf blower on the Pickleball courts at 8:30 in the morning. She spent 15 minutes on each court with people playing pickle ball. Felt like this was way too long to spend on each court. The noise was incredibly loud for us trying to play And the courts did not look like they needed a meticulous cleaning . Thanks

I live near the entrance to the Switchyard Park. It is where I walk almost daily. I have noticed that the beautiful flower beds are full of weeds, some as tall or taller than the flowers. The last two years there were crews weeding and clearing on a regular basis but I haven't seen them this year. It seems a shame to have planted the beautiful flowers only to have weeds take over the beds. Thank you for receiving this information. I'd appreciate knowing if the flower beds will be tended to.

We joined an event Sunday, 9/17. It was advertised as a muscial event at the Main Performance Stage. I had several handicapped people to transport there. There was NO map of Switchyard park. There was no accessibility information. There was no information about a drop off place for people in wheelchairs or walkers. A map showing walkways, accessibility entrances, and all venues for Switchyard is needed!

Southeast Park has ground nesting bees living under the benches surrounding the playground. Please Take care to remove before someone gets stung bad

I'm an Adopt-a-Trail volunteer and was taking care of Southeast Park this morning and noticed a lot of ground bees (they looked like honeybees) just east of the park pavilion at Southeast Park (just north of the playground). The bees were swarming around a patch of wild garlic. I'll include this on my volunteer report but figured it warrants a uReport due to the proximity of the hive to the pavilion with the picnic table.

Southeast Park the water at the two fountain has not been turned on. Is there a reason or just an oversight? The dog is really disappointed.
