Whose bright idea was it to host Indiana Bobcats football on a junior high football field? It’s noisy and an attractive nuisance. They are parking all over the area and playing adult rap music near children.

Hello! I’m a resident of Bloomington and I often take my child to Lower Cascades Park. While I am so grateful for the many parks offered by Monroe County, unfortunately, Lower Cascades is in need of some TLC. There are many areas of unlevel and damaged ground surfaces. The wood flooring that connects the main large slides/equipment is starting to rot in areas and also needs repainted. I appreciate your time and attention to this matter. Thank you so much for maintaining and creating beautiful spaces for our community to enjoy!

The sides of the path on the north part of Early History Trail at RCA park is unmowed. Dropped pin says 1970 S Bernard Dr but please check the north loop of this trail. There are lots of bugs and I do not want to risk my dog getting ticks from the tall grass. I love to walk my dog here because it is so quiet, and usually this is mowed - but right now the grass is overgrown all the way around the north side of the trail, despite the rest of the park being mowed and this part of the trail being mowed in the past. Thanks for your help

This median is part of the city property and is never mowed. It is unsightly and overgrown as it has not been mowed this year. Please add this location to your mowing schedule for the City of Bloomington.

Can the speed limit be reduced near the entrance of Switchyard Park on S. Rogers Street? This is an entrance to the city's largest park and there will be a pedestrian crossing built that will also cross S. Rogers Street, to the park entrance. Currently, the speed is 30 mph, which will be too fast for a pedestrian crossing and the current busy park entrance. Per City Ordinance 18-09, the speed is reduced on Winslow Rd around Allendale Dr. to accommodate for the pedestrian crossing that is near a city park. Other examples of reduced speed near park entrances includes (but not limited to): S. Highland Ave near Winslow Sports Complex and E. Morningside Dr. near Park Ridge East Park.

The light sculpture just south of the Dimension Mill only has a few lights working. This is a beautiful sculpture, and relatively recently installed. In its current state, it gives a blighted look to the space in the evening. Please repair the light sculpture. Thank you.

There is poison ivy around the chain link fence around the tennis courts. Could you please remove it? The tennis balls get in it and we've gotten poison ivy from this.

This water fountain next to Kroger on the bike bath is too close to this tree to be accessible, especially for a wheelchair to get to the water bottle fill side of the fountain. I can see this only being a larger access issue as the tree grows. The water bottle side would allow a user with one available hand to use the fountain, whereas the drinking sides need one hand to hold the bottle and one to push the button.

The lights installed at the RCA Park Pickleball Courts are incredibly bright and send light hundreds of feet into the surrounding park, the woods near the park, and the surrounding homes close to the park. It is a real disruption to those of us who live near the park and I am also concerned about the disruption it has on local wildlife. Would it be possible to have the lights adjusted in some way to reduce the overall light pollution either by lowering their output or changing the angle? I have photos of the issue I can send if that would be helpful.
