Can the sidewalk at xxx East 7th Street be shaved down to eliminate the height difference between the two adjoining slabs? See photo attached. This height difference can be dangerous for westbound cyclists riding on the sidewalk who need to negotiate both a quick right turn and a left turn to enter the SR46 underpass. Now that an asphalt multi-use path has been built at Relato Bloomington at the intersection of Pete Ellis Drive and Longview Avenue, westbound cyclists are more apt to ride on the path/sidewalk vs. the street, and will continue to ride on the sidewalk all the way to the underpass. Cyclists will be going at speed since it is downhill westbound. To negotiate this sidewalk height disparity, while at the same time negotiating a sweeping turn, poses a dangerous situation that can be easily eliminated.

I was just walking at the intersection of Kirkwood and Grant and came upon a woman who had just tripped on an uneven sidewalk and hit her head on the sidewalk. She was bleeding from her brow. Two men were tending to her injury. I bystander sitting on the bench a few feet away told me what he’d seen, that she was walking east on Kirkwood, looked ahead of her for a second, and tripped over the uneven sidewalk. The lip is sticking up right next to a very small utility manhole-type thing. I have two more photos I took right away. This is of her blood spattered on the pavement. Can this uneven sidewalk please be repaired? It is clearly a hazard and would have to be problematic for anyone using a wheelchair there as well. Thank you.

Thank you for patching the cut in the sidewalk, but now instead of a small trench it's a bump. Please patch sidewalks to be flat. (southwest corner at Southdowns/Woodlawn intersection).

Hello, I am writing to inquire about whether the sidewalk on the east side of S. Jackson St. between 3rd and 4th streets can be repaired. As a person with a visual impairment, I have a terrible time walking on the sidewalk in this location, which is in the block where my house is. The sidewalk is very uneven, with tripping hazards throughout its course due to decay. If I didn't have a visual impairment, it would certainly be easier to walk on this part of the sidewalk, but I know that others with no visual impairment also have a difficult time because of the deteriorated surface. Large section of side walk missing. Several metal fence posts and danger tape within it. 6"+ drop from sidewalk. I would assume this is also hazardous poses a safety risk.

Fee and 17th - corner of south west sidewalk. I've tripped over this area three times and last winter dislocated my shoulder when I fell on this. Please fix it!

The curbs on the north side of Wylie St. between Hawthorne and Highland are a mess...broken up and full of weeds, unsightly for Gayle Cook and others who live on the south side of the street. Wondering if the city could take a look and possibly do something about them. Disclosure: My husband and I have tried for years to keep the weeds down, but it is -- alas -- a losing battle. Thank you so much for considering this request! I've been impressed with how quickly you all respond to reports. It's most heartening!
