I assume you're aware of the damage the gas company has done to the asphalt sidewalk in this area (east side of High St by Childs Elementary), and it looks like they are still working. Please make sure that when they repair the sidewalk, they also repair the area immediately north of their work area up to Rock Creek. They have clearly been driving heavy trucks on it and the edges of the sidewalk are cracked and heaving because of it. You can see at the curb ramp at Rock Creek all their tire marks proving they did it and they've broken the concrete there too. Those of us who use this regularly will greatly appreciate a full repair (don't let them just do the obvious area that they removed). Thanks!
The fiber optics crew drilling lines damaged (crushed/cracked/dislodged) almost 40 feet of sideway from the corner of Second Street and Park Avenue. Who pays for this destruction?
The curbs for the new bump-outs on Weatherstone need painted a bright color. It is hard for drivers to see the change in the road, especially at night, and if hit, would cause vehicle damage.
Utility contractor is using rebar rods for safety fencing around open holes along side walk but they are not using rebar caps on top of the rebar which poses an impailment hazard if someone was to fall into the rebar
An area of new sod immediately adjacent to the sidewalk and between the sidewalk and street has collapsed (in some places to a depth of 9 inches) in such a way that it is unsafe for bicyclists or pedestrians who may veer off the sidewalk even very briefly. We believe this sod was laid after the ground was dug for installation of the fiber cable for Gigabit Now. We (University Baptist Church) are not certain of the best agency to contact about the problem, and we are hoping that you will either take care of it or direct us to the correct people to contact. If someone chooses to respond to this concern by phone, please note that we have very limited office hours, but they could leave a voice message. Email is actually best. Thank you! Please have owner contact trash collector and make them move dumpster off the sidewalk
Black top sidewalk put in by apartment contractors at Clarizz and 3rd looks like a turning lane!! Paint the curb and put walking sign on “sidewalk” ASAP please…. Tire marks already on curb where folks have hit it.
Line of sight issues. Can’t see to get out of the alley tree plots are blocking my view to pull out. Very dangerous. I complained last year and nothing was done. Worse this year
Overgrown vegetation on the north side of E First St is blocking the sidewalk
