This is a problem on High St, not Locust Ct. New signs were installed on the west side of High Street warning that there is a crosswalk coming up at Greenbriar and High. But the signs are obscured by vegetation so that they are not visible to drivers going south on High St.
There is a lot of vegetation growing across the sidewalk covering more than half the sidewalk and it's invasive stuff, so it should be pulled not just cut back. This extends along the city owned property and somewhat to the adjacent home owner's property.
Vegetation overgrowth from 709 W. 6th to 1125 W. 6th. Specific locations and photos attached.
North of Kirkwood on Grant next to the Pizzaria there is a good size chunk of sidewalk missing. A Blind man and his dog use this sidewalk regularly. It is a hazard to him. Please repair soon.
Parallel parking by summerhouse has a broken curb
The sidewalk on the north side of East Moore's between Olcott Rd to just west of Fenbrook is narrow and too close to the road. The road itself is narrow there and there's a lot of fast traffic. It's dangerous, several times I have had trucks speeding by inches from me. West of Fenbrook the sidewalk is crumbling into the road.
Sidewalk on south side of W 17th about 75ft west of tri-north construction entrance has puddle of construction silt. It's a real nuisance when it's wet, and you can only see it in this photo because of the tire tracks. It's left over from the construction site draining onto the sidewalk through march. A similar puddle right at the entrance was cleaned up in the last few weeks--thanks!!
The sidewalk is damaged on The Stands Dr. across from Autumn Drive ever since the city removed a street tree at that location.
Bump outs over grown with weeds. Unsightly. Streets covered with dead leaves
