Recently repaired sidewalk blocks are staggered creating a trip hazard
Recently repaired sidewalk blocks are staggered creating a trip hazard
The City has run an over-sized pruner along the sidewalk of our backyard, tearing up the ground and my flowers next to the sidewalk (depicted by the yellow circle in the picture). A piece of fence picket (blue arrow) of our neighbor's 2 houses away was torn down and thrown behind our fence. Our next door neighbor's hostas plants were also damaged. I don't know how the City can revive our plants, but the muddy sidewalk and the hanging clippings need to be cleaned up. We have been keeping our section of the sidewalk clear and clean. We appreciate the City trying to clear the entire length of the sidewalk, however an appropriate machinery needs to be used so as not to do more damage than good. The crew had done a very poor job in this case. I hope no heavy pruning machine will be used on the sidewalk in the future, especially after the City had just repaired these cracked sidewalk.
The pavement in front of our driveway seems to be sinking, which has now resulted in a large height difference between the asphalt and the concrete gutter/curb. Would it be possible to repair the sinking asphalt?
Just wanted to circle back re this sidewalk issue. The report above indicates that the issue is resolved but no repair has been made. I have attempted to make it less of a trip hazard by packing it with old towels. I appreciate your attention to this matter. Thanks Laura Chappell 812-325-2310
Pesticides on a greenway? Seems contradictory? How safe is this for children walking home from school? Dogs going to the park to play? People walking and cycling down Allen St? No chemicals please!!
The sidewalk on the W Allen st hill is full of trash and mud is covering the side walk. It could be easily cleaned up and cleared of dirt.
I let you know there broken sidewalk

Sidewalk (some areas are brick & some are cement) on this stretch could use some sanding to smooth over some areas where they are a bit uneven and a tripping hazard.
There's a large rock on the west side of the street creating an obstacle in the road and hindering the flow of traffic. This is located on S Fess Ave, between E University Street and E First Street, outside of the house 714 S Fess Ave. Please tend to this issue before an accident happens.
