An area of new sod immediately adjacent to the sidewalk and between the sidewalk and street has collapsed (in some places to a depth of 9 inches) in such a way that it is unsafe for bicyclists or pedestrians who may veer off the sidewalk even very briefly. We believe this sod was laid after the ground was dug for installation of the fiber cable for Gigabit Now. We (University Baptist Church) are not certain of the best agency to contact about the problem, and we are hoping that you will either take care of it or direct us to the correct people to contact. If someone chooses to respond to this concern by phone, please note that we have very limited office hours, but they could leave a voice message. Email is actually best. Thank you! All along 17th street starting at tri north the work has created large dirt piles and rock debris. They’ve started growing grass in piles of rock that weren’t there until duke poles and this fiber stuff work began. Is this going to be fixed and removed? Looks a mess and hazard to sidewalk users and when it rains it makes it dangerous

The current height/grade of the curb/sidewalk causes the bottom of vehicles to scrape the sidewalk. You can see the scrape marks in the included photo.

Metal stub from broken off signpost on west sidewalk (even side of street) is a major tripping hazard. It needs to come out, and until that happens it really needs a cone or something to make it visible to pedestrians.

About 20ft back from the southwest corner of 8th and Washington (between the street and the sidewalk) there is the bottom/stump of what was maybe a parking sign. If moving to the side to allow someone to pass on sidewalk or more likely someone getting out of the passenger side of a car could injure themselves, especially at night. Please remove or replace. Thank you.
