Dear Acadia Court Management and Staff,
The entrance to our community has been littered with garbage and human waste filled diapers for over a week. Is this the impression you want to make to prospective residents? What does this say to your current residents, "NOT MY PROBLEM?" Unless you have taken a helicopter to work this past week, you have certainly seen this DISGUSTING and UNSANITARY MESS and yet not one of you have taken the initiative to do something about it. Take some pride in your community and show the current and prospective residents the respect they deserve and CLEAN THIS UP!!! I mean, REALLY?!!!
"Respectfully" yours,
C. Brett Smith

Hello: Here is your weird question of the week. Is it legal for me to have a farmer being in goats for the day or so to clear out weeds in my yard? Not permanent. Just a service. versus me fighting weeds with a weed whacker and round up.

Hello, there is a large dead tree down in the residential neighborhood of Woolery Woods (picture attached). The property is located at the intersection of Countryside Lane and Star View Lane. The tree fell during a storm earlier this spring. The downed tree is located on a green space property that is owned and maintained by the developer, Arthur Management. There is no building structure on the property, but it is adjacent to multiple homes. I believe Municipal Code 6.06.020 (Deposit of Garbage) requires the property owner to dispose of the dead tree and the associated yard waste. Neighbors in our Neighborhood Association have attempted to contact Mr. Arthur, but he has been unresponsive to our requests. Thank you for any assistance the city may provide with helping to improve the aesthetics of our neighborhood.

Why do we put our yard waste in separate containers. thinking it will be composted, when this morning we saw with our own eyes that it was just emptied in the same truck where the trash was dumped into?

This is a request for advice- not notifying of an issue. The home we purchased has a lot of overgrowth: trees, bushes, some poison ivy, and invasive plant species like some of the honeysuckles. We have already started removing some and have a very large pile (when we are finished, it will probably fill a large roll-off dumpster). What does the city typically do when they are clearing brush? Do you chip it or does that just spread the problem items further? Or do you know of any companies that might pick up for a price? Any advice is appreciated. Thank you!
Christine
