We live right next to Bachelor Middle School and was not awaken during the Tornado Warning by the siren that is on the roof of Bachelor MS. We have been awaken by it more than once in the past 2 years and when it goes off it is much louder than our alarm clocks so I do not believe that all 4 of us would ever sleep through it. My request is just that the functionality of the siren at Bachelor Middle School is checked. Thank you.

Hello, I live two doors down from the Banneker center. I have a request that the city, park the van either on the side street next to the center or in front of the center...I realize this is city parking and they have a right to park there. The staff park the van in front of my house and leave it there all weekend and they usually park the van directly in front of mine and my neighbor's house, while they have plenty of room on the west side of the building to park. Or possibly at the girls Club. They usually leave the van there all weekend . They usually park at at least 3 feet from the end of the yellow line. We can normally park three cars there. This effectively cuts off any accessible parking in front of my house and my neighbor's house. I don't mind the extra parking for the kids activities all during the week but this is the staff van. Hello, I live on Rogers where the road construction has been going on. While the construction so far has been annoying, it has been bearable and hasn't intruded on daily life functioning. The past two morning I have been woken at 6 am to extremely loud construction outside my window. 7 am was annoying, but bearable, but 6 am is just insanity. It wasn't even light out this morning at 6 am! I am ill and trying to recover and being woken at 6 am when I don't have to be awake for work until 8 am is just rude. Please, is it at all possible to wait until 7 am to start construction? At least it's a reasonable hour. Thank you, Rachel Matthews

Please forward this praise to the appropriate dept: If we haven't thanked the appropriate department already, on behalf of Bloomington Transit I want to give an enormous thanks to all the staff responsible for clearing the roads so that BT's fixed route and BTaccess (disabled transport) could successfully maintain operations last week during the awful cold and snow. I called the Bloomington police department this evening to report a noise complaint (someone in the apartment complex adjacent to mine is playing incredibly loud rap music). I was told by someone on the phone that the noise ordinance in Bloomington does not start until 11 pm, however, section 14.09.030 states that "Sound that is clearly audible to a person with normal hearing from any place other than the premises from which the source of the sound is located, when the sound occurs between the hours of nine p.m. and seven a.m., is prima facie evidence of a violation of this section." The lady was pleasant, and told me that she would send someone over to look into it, but she was convinced that the city of Bloomington's noise ordinance did not go into affect until 11 pm. Might be worth looking into.

I live off 18th and park road east..my back house faces the Crest play lot off. There is a dead tree that is pretty big that concerns us and our neighbors especially when there is severe storms like the other night and could possibly fall on power lines. CN we please get that tree taken down Thank you concerned residents
