I live near the fire station. Today(06/27) about 6:30pm I opened the door, went out and found some fire fighters chatting on the fire station's balcony. I'm sure they noticed me, too. I passed the station and there is no other people walking at that way at the same time. I heard a hugh shouting to me in a sudden. I think it was the gang on the balcony trying to scare me and make fun of me. Just because I'm an Asian girl.

I work on the IU campus as a professional staff and there is very little support offered for the types of challenges we face. a few weeks ago i wrote on ureport about the missing crosswalk button device at the intersection of west 3rd street & franklin. later when i looked at ureport again i could see that a city engineer had contacted the i-69 project to tell them it was their problem. it still didn't get fixed, so i called the phone # for 1-69 & left a voice message. a man from there called me back & said that their project doesn't go that far, so it's up to the city to fix that. his name is kirk roth so if there is still a dispute, please call him at the phone# on their website. this needs to get resolved please for pedestrian safety at a very busy intersection. people who live on yancy etc need to cross there to get to the bus-stop across the street to go to work. thanks
Hello, I live on Rogers where the road construction has been going on. While the construction so far has been annoying, it has been bearable and hasn't intruded on daily life functioning. The past two morning I have been woken at 6 am to extremely loud construction outside my window. 7 am was annoying, but bearable, but 6 am is just insanity. It wasn't even light out this morning at 6 am! I am ill and trying to recover and being woken at 6 am when I don't have to be awake for work until 8 am is just rude. Please, is it at all possible to wait until 7 am to start construction? At least it's a reasonable hour. Thank you, Rachel Matthews

Leaves were never removed from Greenbriar, Mayfair, and Arden neighborhoods last fall. Snow fell on top making snow removal a mess. Potholes emerged making it even worse especially where Wilton and Greenbriar merge. Then last weekend - city crews were pumping what I presume to be leaves out of the storm sewer leaving a huge mess. The entry to our neighborhood now looks really bad. Crumbling roads covered with muck and piles of dead leaves. What does one need to do to bring attention to this? When will the leaves be removed and the roads be repaired and cleaned up?
My wallet was stolen from my cousins car. It was left open for 20 minutes when went back it was done. I had my social and my permission to work id. What's the next step?
