I picked city performance to hopefully get this issue resolved. I reported this sidewalk blocked on 07/06/2021 Ureport # 176470. This thing that’s blocking the sidewalk is still there blocking the sidewalk as it shows in the picture. As many people walk downtown, I find it disappointing that this hasn’t been resolved.
When will the Longview bike path reopen? Was very important and nice. Also will Greenway improvements extend east of there soon?
N Smith and Morningside remains dangerous with many not stopping on N Smith. Yes per Planning signs may be "visible" per the book but doesn't mean people expect and abide by them there - flashers or other item especially to protect bikers crossing at Greenway needed. Though State intersection, N. Smith and 10th also remains dangerous for turns during heavy traffic.
Today I was almost killed by a motorist on the 7th St. bike trail. There needs to be signage for the motorists. Too many out of town drivers on a regular basis to think it can be a learned infrastructure!
Blocked Street requests go to Paul Kehrberg, and nothing seems to happen after that. Contractor/company installing public project fiber has not provided any advance notice to any neighbors. Instead, we all received flyers AFTER work was done. Several issues with work existed, but the number goes to a voicemail and language barriers prevented communication with staff onsite with some neighbors. Please make sure work and appropriate rehabilitation occurs with large City projects such as this. Machinery should be parked on pavement, not yards, for instance overnight, etc.

I have identified a hazard and the city is doing NOTHING about it. Why have this reporting system if our citizen complaints aren’t being answered?
Can someone provide an update on the Morningside Greenway installation? We're excited and believe it was intended for spring, but didn't know if a more solid date is now chosen. Workers were walking the street the other day looking at trees.
