On the webpage that describes the features of each City Park, Crestmont Park has nothing listed. As to avoid the appearance of bias against the low-income (ahem!), please fix this. Thank you. https://bloomington.in.gov/parks/parks

I've noticed that the uReport system no longer shows the text of the updates made. There are only dates and words like "open" and "assignment" and "closed." Citizens cannot see what the City has said or reported about these uReports. There are no details on who is working on the case, what is being done, etc. Is there a reason why this information has gone away and transparency is now lost?

Is the city ever going to stripe this block on 6th street? The city paved this last year and never did stripe it. It would really help with parking. Many people not only double park but will parallel park on the south side which should be angle parking. I e reported this before and nothing is getting done.

I picked city performance to hopefully get this issue resolved. I reported this sidewalk blocked on 07/06/2021 Ureport # 176470. This thing that’s blocking the sidewalk is still there blocking the sidewalk as it shows in the picture. As many people walk downtown, I find it disappointing that this hasn’t been resolved.

The home that I rent had a city rental inspection conducted in November. I was home and neither did the inspector inspect everything that is listed on the pre-inspection addendum nor did they speak with me. There are a few issues that I would have pointed out if given the opportunity. Most notably, as listed in HAND's documentation, it states that All required openable windows shall be capable of remaining open on their own hardware. That is not the case in this home and that was not inspected. Can someone please explain to me what the procedure is for inspections? There are other issues as well that I had erroneously assumed would have been inspected since they are on the list of what is required of a rental property to have in good order. These are not issues that are perhaps directly impacting me at the moment but I do feel strongly that the house should be in actual full compliance so as to protect future renters. Property owners who rent their property should be held fully accountable to what the ordinances stipulate. Is it because of COVID that the inspector spent less than five minutes "inspecting" the entire house? Thank you.

I live near the fire station. Today(06/27) about 6:30pm I opened the door, went out and found some fire fighters chatting on the fire station's balcony. I'm sure they noticed me, too. I passed the station and there is no other people walking at that way at the same time. I heard a hugh shouting to me in a sudden. I think it was the gang on the balcony trying to scare me and make fun of me. Just because I'm an Asian girl.

On Sunday a man was spreading weed killer on the lawn at City Hall. There were people with kids and dogs in the area that had no idea there was poison in the grass. Why was this allowed? Isn't the City supposed to put up signs if it uses chemicals on the grass? Why are they even using chemicals? This issue needs to be reviewed, if only for public safety.

Dear city, I would like to send sincere appreciation for Hank Duncan of the city Pedestrian and Cycling department. He is highly creative and a real pleasure to work with - and is a true asset to the city for his willingness to be a partner in city bike safety. Thank you, Hank - and well done! I tried to use this area to have a quick meeting with colleagues before going to an appointment at a business on the square. This area was unavailable due to the mess. Balloons, needles, beverage cans, etc. (The yoga mat is mine.) Further, these benches are damaged and appear to be unmaintained. I then moved to the corner of the square where no needles were visible. There I was immediately solicited by panhandlers twice. All of this is unacceptable and I hope to see these areas cleaned and maintained on a proper schedule. The frequency with which I am required to defend myself physically against panhandlers here is becoming unbearable. It is unsafe to be downtown in Bloomington, Indiana.
