I tried to use this area to have a quick meeting with colleagues before going to an appointment at a business on the square. This area was unavailable due to the mess. Balloons, needles, beverage cans, etc. (The yoga mat is mine.) Further, these benches are damaged and appear to be unmaintained. I then moved to the corner of the square where no needles were visible. There I was immediately solicited by panhandlers twice. All of this is unacceptable and I hope to see these areas cleaned and maintained on a proper schedule. The frequency with which I am required to defend myself physically against panhandlers here is becoming unbearable. It is unsafe to be downtown in Bloomington, Indiana.

Referencing case #170526...if Renwick gets their City trees trimmed, then we would like the same for our neighborhood. Please begin along Hancock Dr on the opposite side of the road from the park, continue up to Lindbergh and turn left. Continue down the right side. Turn left on W. 12th and then trim alongside the City alley between Oolitic and Lindbergh. As much of this overgrowth, particularly along Hancock, has obscured signs, it would be very helpful. Washington & Cottage Grove -- Miller Pipeline construction crew left their equipment blocking the sidewalk after they left for the day on Friday afternoon. This will probably remain on the sidewalk until they return on Monday morning. This seems like a substantial safety hazard, and extremely inconsiderate since they have the sidewalk on the other side of the street all torn up.

There may be no illegalities within the mayors administration, but there are breeches of the peace through his office. The city does not derive a debt to the State of Indiana, it does operate under the same jurisdiction, and that means authority. Mark Kruzan is being given a vote of no confidence because of the Separation of Church and State. He has become a rebel, and some of his actions have been worthy of accrediting, but in light of other circumstances in the city , such conducts will have negated such accreditation. He is a disgrace for not challenging Federal authority away from being an independent on the ballot, and does not deserve to remain the Mayor of Bloomington city government.

They were at a light by 3rd St.and the city vehicle was not signaling at the intersection. The city driver then cut them off (he was on the phone). Further down by 17th St. the driver slowed down to 10 mph and as they went to pass him he started giving them "dirty looks". The city driver was in Fleet Vehicle #409 at 3:15 today.
