Is the street sign at the corner of W.17th and formerly Rogers/Kinser Pike correct? It is now labeled as Madison St.. I've lived on W. 17th since 1977. The street going South off of W. 17th at this intersection has always been Rogers St. The street going North at this intersection with W. 17th was always Kinser Pike. Was there a change so that this street(s) has now 3 different names in <1 block?
Good Evening, My name is Kelly and I work with kids in an after school program in Vermont. Recently I've been working with the kids on safety, I decided doing a fun project on ways they can be safe before and after school. TO whomever patrols SR#37 just north of Bloomington (heading north). THANK YOU for stopping to check when my car was on the side of the road with my hazzard lights on. I SO appreciate the stop. I had called AAA and they were on their way, but I was SO glad that an officer (two different ones) stopped to see if I needed assistance. My flat tire was immaginary (AAA guy was not amuzed but accomodating). The road is bumpy and my indicator light said I had a flat tire, so I did what I thought I should do. So much for BMW indicator lights - they are a bit too sensitive - but I want to THANK those of you who check on stranded motorists. It is so very much appreciated and comforting.
I noticed that my address is not included on the myBloomington City Services tool as the addresses go from 631 to 635 Bayberry Ct W and skips my address of 633 Bayberry Ct W. Is this why I have not received a Trash and Recycling Pickup Schedule magnet for many years? Please add my address. Thanks.
I went to the Police Headquarters on 3rd Street to obtain a police report regarding an accident Thursday the 9th. The woman who was working was very helpful and pleasant. Earlier this year I went to another city facility and they were very helpful as well. I am very happy and pleased to know that Bloomington employs such great people with very pleasant attitudes, which I know can be difficult with us college kids.

Our next door neighbor wanted us to shovel snow away from their mailbox since the snow was plowed in a pile in front of it. It was assumed my son's car was parked in the cul de sac however he hasn't parked there when severe weather hits. I am not in the best of the health to shovel it away. Can someone from the city just plow it away from their mailbox and to the right of their driveway where no one parks? I mean the best to the city plow services but the neighbors think its our responsibility to shovel it and I beg to differ. Please direct me on this issue. They are a relatively young middle aged couple and are quite capable of handling this without blaming us. Deepest regards, Stacy
Sidewalk in front of Elks property on N. Walnut has deteriorated in a dangerous manner (especially in front of Elks Parking lot). This has been going on for 2 years and there is almost no solid concrete left in 2 sidewalk squares. However, large chunks remain loose and are a serious tripping hazard.
I live at 2327 S Terra Ct, and I would like to report trash in my neighbors yard (2333 S Terra Ct). I have reported this before, but it has again become an issue. I have to constantly pick up their trash from my yard, to keep my yard from looking like a dump. It is not likely drive by trash as I live in a cul-de-sac inside another cul-de-sac; and the trash is not only in their front yard, but their back yard as well. I am pregnant, and I feel I should not have to live in these conditions, or pick up large amounts of others trash constantly as I am not their janitor. I do not put trash in my yard, only the proper receptacles, and these receptacles are only outside with trash when it is being picked up for trash/recycling day. I have no interest in attracting rodents or other creatures that do not belong near my house. Please see the attached photo of my neighbors trash, that I have collected from just my own yard, from the past month and a half.
