Bloomington is one of the 14 cities in the spotlight for having so many fun things going on any day of the week it makes it hard to choose! The travel writer hand selected beautiful images of some of Breckenridge’s best activities and recommends visiting September when the city’s best events attract visitors from around the world who don’t want to miss out on all the fun. For the past few weeks there have been dogs roaming free in this area. I have nearly hit them in the street a couple times and one actually did get hit by a car a few days ago. I think they belong to the big red house in this block. They don't appear to follow and leash or restraint requirements. I am concerned for the animal's continued safety.

This carpet store has been destroyed for a **long** time now. I don't know what caused it, but that's irrelevant. This wreckage is an eyesore on one of the biggest inlets to the city. I also worry that youth (like myself a number of years ago) like exploring things like that and could be injured from a falling wall or something. That's probably less of a worry, but you never know given it being next to the theatre. Is it possible to hasten the cleanup, or at least removal of debris from this location?

I moved here about four months ago, and it has alarmed me how many times I've seen people holding a cell phone up to their ear while driving! All over town. This morning I was seeing my kids off on the school bus, and the guy behind the bus was talking on the phone as he followed them. If you could put out a public advisory or something, that would be great! Thanks.

Street sign for 1st Street and S. Fess Ave. is falling off of the stop sign it's attached to. I think it just needs a bolt.

In City Hall's council chambers, there is a broken outlet on the back wall, behind the center public seating area. The faceplate is split in half and the outlet itself is exposed.

This morning I noticed that my passenger mirror had been hit. I got out of my vehicle and looked at the other cars down the road and noticed a couple others had been hit as well. (Passenger side of vehicles face a sidewalk, so not side-swiped by another vehicle.) I called the Bloomington Police Department around 2:15 explained the situation, was carried to dispatch, explained again and was told to write a report.

i recently saw something terrible & now everytime i walk past there, it bothers me. at 2600 west 3rd street, on a small vacant office building, in big bold red plastic letters there's advertising affixed to 3 sides of the building "INJURED ? CALL KEN AT 1-800-CALLKEN" and to make it even worse it lights up at night! making it look even more tawdry & garish. even if he owns that vacant building there's a city code under "peace&safety" that states that ads cannot be affixed to buildings. please have him remove this ugly situation as soon as possible. he can be contacted at his huge building at the end of franklin street. thanks
