Hi, I'm a resident in the Elm Heights neighborhood. For some time now, my neighborhood has noticed that there is a very suspicious chemical smell--often sickly sweet--around Carlisle Brake and Friction. After conducting citizen science for several months (that is, recording when and where we smell the chemicals, as well as the day's conditions), we noticed that the smell often occurs when the building has just been repainted (this is done excessively often, and the smell does not smell like wet or drying paint) or on rainy/humid days when it is difficult to monitor the atmosphere. I hope the city will look into this issue, as it continues to be a problem in a residential area. I'll gladly provide the details of our records.

I need to know who to contact about a construction permit displaying in the window. The owner listed on the sign is fraudulent. The locks have been changed. My sister Christine Wilhelm and son Charles Swinehart are the Owner. My brother has been in hospital and nursing care since July 1st 2016. He has been released but now he has no place to reside. Sheriff office responded to trespassing call on Saturday morning. They only said that it is a civil matter. I do not have permit number from the sign but it is dated 12/7/16.

We live at the Wheelers Mission for women in Bloomington. We have to take our clothes to another place to wash them. Wheelers mission has washing machines. If we go to the bathroom to go use it we get in trouble. We get sick clasp the worker stands and watches. The people that are down stairs have to stay in their bed when the people up stairs come down stairs watch T.V. The workers have residents cook clean instead of out working or looking for a place to live after they have a job.

I have always had positive experiences with all members of the Sanitation Department, but this past year, in particular, I have had extremely positives experiences. Not only have the team members been thorough, timely, and respectful, but everyone has been SO friendly! The team doesn't hold back on the smiles, waves, and well-wishes. I cannot say enough positive about the Sanitation team (yard waste, recycling, trash) that comes through the Winslow Farms/Sweetbriar neighborhood. Hello, My name is Julie Abrams. I am part of the St. Charles School Board Commission. I wanted to know if we must have a permit to hold a car show on our school lot as a fundraiser.
