Is there information online or could you direct me who to contact about rules/regulations/taxes? I am on the Gentry Qtrs.HOA board and wanted to compliment and thank the work crew who fixed the water leak at Gentry Quarters Condominiums on College Mall Road on 10/20/2015. The crew did a great job of fixing the leak and cleaning up the muddy mess that was the result and did so in a reasonable time. Its nice to see that kind of service from our city workers.

Failure of bloomington police department to respond to create an incident report of a serious health threat. On Oct. 28 at approximately 12:45 pm I ordered a sandwich from wichwich sandwich store on East Kirkwood ave and ask them to not place bacon on the sandwich because I have mammalian meat allergy, an allergy to all mammal meat that causes anaphylaxis. I went back to work at 517 E. Kirkwood Ave. and began to eat and after a few bites discovered there was bacon on the sandwich. I immediately returned to wichwich and they apologized for the mistake, admitting their error. I called bloomington police to fill out an incident report because anaphylaxis in mammalian meat allergy occurs 5-7 hours after consumption, when I will be at home 12 miles away from a hospital. If I have to go to the emergency room and receive any resultant care or if there is any medical or health damage - LIKE DEATH - due to this error, I wanted a police report that included the statements from the employees that they had heard my request and erred, so as to be able to support any need for costs and damages that will occur. The bloomington police department refused to send an officer to the scene. I learned this after I called the police department back after waiting 40 minutes at the store. The sergeant on duty as shift commander who refused to send a unit to the scene was Rashe. there is no place on this city website to lodge a complaint, only a place to offer compliments.....right....So what a wonderful city; hopefully my child won't be without a father after tonight.

It is disturbing to be in our neighborhood right now because we have a female deer that I have written about before who has a dangling rear right leg and a broken hip. She had 3 fawns this summer, but yesterday we only saw 1 fawn with her. She is in heat right now, and there is a male buck chasing her incessantly. We saw them 3 times in our neighborhood yesterday late afternoon. If the buck mounts her, she will probably end up severely damaged because she cannot take his weight with her broken hip/leg. And if she happens to survive...I doubt she will survive birthing a fawn or two next spring. I don't enjoy seeing animals suffer this much living in a city where deer aren't really supposed to be living. This would be a different issue had it been in the country. Bloomington has a deer problem and I wonder if it will take a killing of a child before anything gets done. Numerous of my friends have had their dogs attacked by deer, children attacked by deer and a deer went rampant inside a resident's home. Please advise....

My house is only serviced by one internet service provider AT&T but I know my neighbors have the choice of Comcast as well. Is it legal for me to only have one option? Do I have any power to pursue Comcast as an internet service provider option? It seems unfair to me that I would not have options.

On 12/3/15, I parked at a meter on Kirkwood in front of the library. I used my debit card and wanted to pay for three hours of parking. The meter would only give me one hour; it did not give me the option to add more time the way most of the meters do. I had to insert my card three times in order to get the desired amount of time, but I see that I was charged the 30 cent convenience fee each time. On the myBloomington City Services tool my address of 633 Bayberry Ct W both the Trash Day and Recycle Week is noted as “Not Available” and I never receive a Trash and Recycling Pickup Schedule magnet. Is there something wrong with my address listing in the database? Please update my address and send a magnet. Thank you.

I buried hundreds of what is referred to as orgonite in the community and over time have come to the conclusion that the stuff is a public menace as it takes away a certain magic that is essential for a decent living. I buried over 20 around the power station at north Dunn just above the railroad tracks and probably as many around trinorth middle school as well as around the vectren office on madison. I believe the community would greatly benefit if these things could be located and removed. I bought a metal detector to find them but it doesn't seem able to locate them. I was thinking maybe ground penetrating radar or some other high tech solution will succeed. Please take this seriously, this stuff is unacknowledged by the government as a problem probably because it is so easy to make and disperse. I believe I have created a unique problem in bloomington that requires government action. I can't say specifically what orgonite does or removes from the environment but I know it does quite a lot and I and probably you though you don't know it have had just about enough of it. Please take me seriously, I want to get this stuff out of all our lives and restore normalcy to the bloomington area. thank you, Michael Donoghue
